Skip, I am not saying rumor will be reality-it may be. When the Haynesville in March and April of 2008 was talked about as going to be the the largest natural gas field in the US and the fouth largest in the world-that was rumor. It looks lilke it will be; leasing is down to T-7 and that is half of the Parish but it gets deep from there. The Bossier Shale is above the Haynesville, and so it will be developed before the Haynesville in today's economy. And then you have all the other formations that can be produce from, with a good or bad economy, ie. Coal bed methane gas, Saratoga (oil and gas), Austin Chulk (oil & gas), all about 3 to 4 thousand feet, etc. and thanks to horizontal drilling some impressive production numbers can be brought in for along period. So, Sabine Parish could be the" Motherload" of NW La., and I am not Cheerleader or Jurrasic, just a land owner that knows how valuable his land is.
Good Luck, Jordan.
Skip, Good luck to you and everyone that has land in the Haynesville formation of NW La. This formation,as well as, the other formations in NW La. are a great bounty for Louisiana and the Nation.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
