PD, yes - those are the spudder rigs I was referencing in my earlier post.
I would assume these spudder rigs are a real good sign in terms of the conceptual "gas factory". I have to google each time everyone talks about spudder rigs, workover rigs, Pinnergy, etc. It's like a foreign language.
I know....it is hard to keep up with. You think you have it nailed and then another term is brought into play.

I sent you a friendship request. Please accept it. I saw an earlier post in which you commented that your sister (or sister-in-law) got very low gas prices from Chesapeake. I am collecting info on gas prices -- please read my discussion "What Price are You Getting for Your Gas?" It turns out, based on limited data, that Chesapeake is paying mineral owners about $1 per mcfe less than what all the others are paying. We need more data to support the finding. Would you mind getting those prices and contributing them to our database?

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
