Wall Street Journal: "Shale Gas Will Rock The World"

This one is from May 2010, but a pretty interesting article and video from the Wall Street Journal:

 

"I have been studying the energy markets for 30 years, and I am convinced that shale gas will revolutionize the industry—and change the world—in the coming decades. It will prevent the rise of any new cartels. It will alter geopolitics. And it will slow the transition to renewable energy"

Fantastic article! Thanks for sharing. With our huge national debt we keep spending over $1 Trillon per year on imported oil. Let's keep that money at home and drill on land where there is less risk and it is cheaper. I tell my macroeconomics class that in the energy sector the really big player in the 21st century is natural gas.
