I live off Benton Road, North of I220 and just across the tracks toward the River levy. Residents along Rebouche Road have been known to sign leases for $5,000 per acre/.25%/3yr/2yr opt. This was last week. I was offered the same and I needed to "think about it." I am aware of signings off Airline Drive north of 220 for $11,000 per acre with a well site just south of "The Reserve" across from entrance to Lakewood. Are there any other offers in this area?

You're in a good area. Good $$$ being paid for mineral rights up there.
They are NOT about done!! They would like you to believe they are almost done so you will feel the pressure to sign, but it just isn't true. The courthouse is full of landmen and only one person on my street has signed. There is still time!!! THey are just getting cranked up in North Bossier. Don't panic, just stay calm.
Randy,
Stomping ground where you live or the area you're currently working?
I live in Shreveport, I work in the North Bossier area. I don't go too far north of I220 though.

We just bought off of Seven Pines Road about four months ago, am researching right now to see if we have the mineral rights to our place or not, since it is not listed in the property deed. We are offically termed as Seven Pines Road Estates. So just inquiring as to if any one might know. Thanks a bunch.
If you get in contact with anyone who is wanting to lease your property that would be the landman's job. That is, to determine if you do indeed own the mineral rights. It's not really necessary or expected of you to do that research. Unless you just want to do it to learn about the process.

You may easily go to the Court House and get help to find the
answer to your mineral rights. They are very, very busy
right now, but are usually happy to help.

I have yet to see any comment from anyone that is from the Plain Dealing area. Can someone give some insight as to what, if any,
activity is going on up there? Is it going to be of interest in the Haynesville play anytime in the future or is there anything going on there now? If so, what is the going rate on both bonus and
royalty at this time? I own a little under 4 acres on the east side of town (within the city limits) and am curious about the rumors I'm hearing over here in Texas where I live. Thanks! And may God bless us all.
We have land on the river and some energy company offered us $2000 an acre with 25% We turned this down. We live on hwy 2 Plain Dealing
OWN APPROXIMATELY 200 ACRES IN NORTH BOSSIER PARISH WITH 100% MINERALS. THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH AND RANGE 14 WEST IN THE OLD COMMUNITY OF WARDVIEW.
HAS ANYONE IN THIS AREA BEEN CONTACTED FOR A LEASE? ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
I would be thinking about taking that offer. There are multiple well results that indicate that the Haynesville Shale does not extend further north past Benton. You may indeed have lots of Haynesville Sand on your property, but that formation is not commanding near the leases that the Haynesville Shale is. If they come out with a definitive boundary of the shale at Benton, your $2000 offer will be gone very quickly.
Count...that must be Chesapeakes boundary....where do you get you info? Major player is looking at PD area now?
