WildHorse Resources, LLC, has applied for a public hearing regarding drilling a horizontal Cotton Valley well in the Terryville Field.

WildHorse intends to drill a horizontal LCV horizontal in Section 14, T19N-R4W.

Wildhorse has recently been staking several new locations in the Terryville Field, and supposedly has intentions of drilling approximately 30 new wells in the Terryville Field, 2 of which are proposed horizontals.

Thanks BirdDawg. My family has interest in the Terryville field. Noticed in the Shreveport times Wildhorse is going to drill a well for the Grey Sand in Sec. 9 on the Wallace place. Glad to see some activity return to Terryville field.
We also received notification of 2 horizontal wells being drilled in the Terryville field where we have family royalty interest. How long does it take from notification to producation?
Karla,
Some have stated that they may start drilling soon, but there may be a possibility they may not drill until around February.
After the drilling, which will take a while, and then the time for completion, payment is still at least 6 - 8 months out. Just a guess.
Thanks, I am trying to understand all this oil and gs stuff. Gary, saw your photos. Tell the wife I said hello!
Will do, Karla.
BirdDawg,

Has Wildhorse bought out Comstock's interest in Terryville also?
John D.,
It appears that Comstock is still operating Sections 11, 12 and 13, T19N-R4W.
Thanks BirdDawg,

I was just curious if Wildhorse had bought their interest out in the field also. Sure hope Wildhorse has the success that KCS had. Their Kathco 19 Grey Res. well was a milestone for Lincoln parish.
Many thanks.
Your right John. Maybe WildHorse will attempt to develop the Gray some more.
BD, Wildhorse has also applied to drill a horizontal in Section 18, T19N, R4W. They are currently in the Terryville doing some recompletions of existing wells. Hope they have some success!
Thats good news Dave. I didn't know where the other horizontal was going to be. They are staking a lot of new wells now too. Maybe we will see some permits soon.

They are drilling horizontal right now in Section 23 on the LD Barnett place.  Went by there Saturday night and Baker Hughs was logging the hole and a bunch of casing waiting on location.  Location is also being cleared in section 14.  Can't wait to see how this well turns out!!
