Update on well in section 25(36)-T11N-R12W Well, serial #241342

Hi,

Does anyone have any new information on this well, other than what is being reported on Sonris? Sonris reports that it reached td in early September.  Any chance that it will be completed soon?

Thanks

marilyn, there are a number of nearby wells by operators in addition to Petrohawk that are TD but not completed. That and the location of this well leads me to believe that this area is waiting for pipeline connections. There is no need to complete a well if there is no way to connect it to sales. Maybe someone who lives in the area can update us on pipeline construction.
Thanks for the information, Skip. I know that a 16" gathering line has been built near by. What's the difference between a gathering line and a pipeline?
marilyn,

Gathering lines are small diameter pipelines that move natural gas from the wellhead to a natural gas processing plant or to a connection with a larger mainline pipeline.
FXEF, "gathering" lines can actually be fairly large diameter since the gathering system generally consists of large diameter trunklines and smaller diameter spur lines to the well pads. Of course with pad drilling the spur lines will be sized to handle muliple wells. By the way treating plants to remove CO2 and/or H2S are installed at key aggregation locations along the system.
Enterprise plans to build a 16" gathering line in this area. I was told it would cover 18 wells. Marilyn may be right that construction has already begun.
the well is being fraced at this time. pipeline is almost complete.Kinderhawk pipeline. enterprise is going to lay another pipeline in the same area.
Thanks for the information.
Marilyn  the well in sec 36 serial #241342 IS NOW ON  LINE

Hi buckmaster,

Excuse my ignorance, but what does that mean? Is it a good thing?

Thanks,

Marilyn

it means the well is producing gas and gas is flowing through  the  pipe line to sales.
Wow, that is exciting!  Thanks for the update.

Hi Guys,

Thanks so much for the information to date.  Does anyone have any production information on this well?  I know that it has "turned to sale," but I don't see any test results.
