When they force drill in you section if we are drilling as a group do you get money from under your land are a precent under the whole section land.

Go to search in the upper right hand corner of the page and search force pooling. You will be busy reading for a while.

The basics are you will be paid your pro-rata share of the unit after expenses of the well are met.

Sounds good on the surface but it is not something that most want to endure especially if it is a small piece of property. But it is also not a no-win situation for th landowner either.

Bottom line, most would agree, if you can get a good lease - take it. If not wait. Even after a unit is force pooled, does not mean that you can no longer receive a lease.
