Is there any information on drilling of James Rowe survey in Shelbyville area?  Only 40+ acres in plat but there are several unleased people in this site.

Have you searched the Shelby County discussions?  You should find several which address James Rowe Survey.

You can search by clicking on "View All" (under discussions) and the type ROWE in the search box. 

 

There have been no completions reported (A-585) but Southwestern is drilling vertical and directional wells in the area.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
