High gasoline prices may be just what's needed to kick off demand for CNG..

It should at least get those politician's attention who will be fielding the flack from high oil prices and are hoping to get re-elected.

They predicted on CNBC this morning N/G would not break 6 until 2019. I certainly hope that is wrong.

If you look at natural gas futures, this is where people are not forecasting - they are putting their money on the line estimating what prices will be. The first time NG prices (annualized) break $6 is maybe 2018, and more likely 2019.

Well that's perfect timing....dropped from 4.8ish to 4.3ish in a few days.  EIA storage drop 60% over last year at same time with total storage now even par with last year yet prices roughly 20% down.....depressing.

be glad they haven't dropped more. New England is encased in a sheet of ice and we still have a little more gas in storage than last year. Todays reported withdrawal was quite disapointing.

Have you all noticed that priced always climb the beginning of the month and then pull back the end of the month

KCM, that is the reason I tell people it is a waste of time to check the NYMEX contract every day.  Only the final settlement price really matters.
