A coiled tubing unit is installing production tubing.  Many HA wells are initially produced through the well bore casing.  Later production tubing is installed.  It's SOP.

I think it is a pressure management tool related to production.

Production tubing will not increase the volume of gas produced, however it will give the operator better control of the well. What you are seeing in production falling off is just the normal Haynesville decline rate.

Anyone out there receiving royalties on these wells?  I've gotten three checks from PXP, but nothing from Chesapeake.

Encana has been paying since Nov. on these wells

We got our first check from Chesapeake on Feb 9th it was for 4 months of production. Sorry, assumed you'd got yours.

Chesapeake sold a percentage of my lease to PXP.  I received my first check from PXP in October.  Got the DO from Chesapeake in late December, but still no royalty check.  None of my neighbors have received anything either!.  .....  Guess we need to call them.

Got my first check from Chesapeake today, but it was only for the month of November.  The well has been in production since July 2010, so I called them to see where the rest of my royalties are, and I was told it would be about six days before I would get a call back.  Sooooo, I sent Katie an email...... maybe she can get me a quicker response.

I received a response from Chesapeake this afternoon (after notifying Katie McCullin), and after some discussion, and research on her part, the nice young lady who I spoke with, agreed that I did not receive all of my royalty payments that were due through November 2010.  She said she would look into the matter further, and call me back tomorrow or the next day. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon.

Hey Gang,

 

Just wanted to let everybody know I received a call from Chesapeake this morning.  It was from someone other than who I had talked with last week.  Her name is Ryan, and she left a voice message saying they did owe me more royalties for prior months production on Virginia Packert H.    She also said they had not finished their review, so my check amount had not been determined yet.  I called back but got her voice mail instead......  

sure hope I don't have to play phone tag all day!!!
