The East Linden (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Sunninghill Well No. 1 drilled by Stroud Petroleum to 11,000 feet 1.4 miles southwest of Bivens. The well is in the W. Donaho Survey, A-249.
Dallas County
In a lease within city limits of Grand Prairie in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field, Chesapeake Operating will drill four wells to 9,000 feet. The Hackman Well No. 1H, the Hackman Well No. 2H, the Hackman Well No. 3H and the Hackman Well No. 4H are in the W. Reed Survey, A-1193.
Freestone County
Devon Energy will drill the Mt. Peyton-FE Hill-Carroll (SA) Well No. 1H in the Nan-Su-Gail (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to 13,000 feet six miles northeast of Fairfield in the M.R. Palacios Survey, A-20.
In a lease 11.4 miles east of Winkler, in the Mill Stewards Northeast (Rodessa) Field, the Westhoff Well No. 1 will be drilled by Apache Corp to 8,500 feet in the J. Thomas Survey, A-603.
XTO Energy will drill the Cooper Gas Unit Well No. 7 and the Zeno King Gas Unit Well No. 4 to 13,000 feet in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.
The No. 7 is 2.3 miles southeast of Teague in the T.P. Shapard Survey, A-554.
The No. 4 is 1.9 miles northeast of Teague in the C. Maul Survey, A-442.
Harrison County
GMX Resources will drill the Jo Ann Scott Well No. 8A to 6,802 feet 9.2 miles southeast of Marshall in the Bethany (Glen Rose 4300) Field. This well is in the W. Williams Survey, A-757 and may be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
Houston County
Navidad Resources will drill the Crowson Well No. 1 to 11,500 feet 5.2 miles northwest of Lovelady in a wildcat field. This is in the W. Prissick Survey, A-67.
The Thompson Brothers A62 Well No. 1 will be drilled to 12,500 feet 3.7 miles southwest of Lovelady in a wildcat field by Llog Exploration Texas in the J. Nevelle Survey, A-62.
Johnson County
XTO Energy will drill the Colonial A Unit Well No. 7H to 12,000 feet 4.7 miles southeast of Burleson the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the J.A. Renfro Survey, A-740.
Limestone County
The Jacoby-Harris Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 and the W. O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 37 will be drilled by XTO Energy in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.
The No. 3 will hit 13,900 feet. The No. 37 will hit 14,500 feet. Both are in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26. The wells may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field.
Nacogdoches County
In a lease 7.9 miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Russell Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled by EOG Resources to 13,600 feet in the J.H. Muckleroy Survey, A-408.
Chevron U.S.A. will drill the Moonshine Fee Mineral Well No. 11H to 19,000 feet 17.2 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
Panola County
Classic Operating will drill the Sipes Unit Well No. 2 to 11,750 feet 2.4 miles south of Tatum in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the W. Gooden Survey, A-221 and may be drilled in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field or the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field.
In a lease five miles southwest of Beckville, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Pellham-Tompkins Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by Dove Creek Energy. This well will hit 10,100 feet in the J. Spencer Survey, A-589.
XTO Energy will drill the PEC Minerals Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1H to 18,200 feet 6.8 miles southeast of DeBerry in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the S. Pearce Survey, A-525.
The Lazarine Gas Unit 3 Well No. 1H will be drilled to 9,650 feet 11.2 miles west of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Indigo Minerals. This well is in the J. Lindley Survey, A-416.
Valence Operating will drill the Sterrett Well No. 23 to 12,000 feet 3.1 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the D. Morris Survey, A-463.
Robertson County
XTO Energy will drill the Hart Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 14,400 feet 4.7 miles southwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well is in the H. Reed Survey, A-35.
San Augustine County
The Thundering Herd (SL) DU Well No. 1HB will be drilled by XTO Energy to 19,000 feet 4.4 miles southeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the Christina Sinclair Survey, A-453.
Exco Operating will drill the Hopkins SU Well No. 1H to 15,000 feet 8.8 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J.H. Hopkins Survey, A-140.
Chesapeake Operating will drill the Wright GU SAG Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet 3.7 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the P.A. Sublett Survey, A-44.
In a lease 7.1 miles southeast of San Augustine, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the BSM Unit A20 Well No. 1H will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas to 15,000 feet in the C. Sinclair Survey, A-399.

Classic Operating will drill the Spurlock Well No. 2H to 14,000 feet 3.2 miles northwest of Joaquin in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This is in the L. Maragle Survey, A-459.
Tarrant County
Chesapeake Operating will drill 12 in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to a depth of 9,000 feet.
The Molly Tar Well No. 1H, the Molly Tar Well No. 2H, the Molly Tar Well No. 3H and the Molly Tar Well No. 4H will be drilled within city limits of Fort Worth in the W. Mask Survey, A-1041.
The BMX Cook Unit Well No. 4H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the T. Akers Survey, A-25.

Fair Oil will drill the Cochran-Davis Well No. 1 to 5,800 feet in a lease seven miles northwest of Hawkins, in the Trice (Woodbine) Field. The well is in the W. Fisher Survey, A-209.

XTO Energy completed the Curry Gas Unit Well No. 25 to 11,892 feet 6.3 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potenialed 2.814 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Anadarko E&P completed the Burgher "D" Well No. 26H to 15,865 feet 4.2 miles southwest of Turlington in the Dowdy Ranch Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.008 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Valence Operating completed the W.R. Tutt Well No. 6 to 12,288 feet 5.5 miles northeast of Easton in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.033 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

EOG Resources completed three wells in the East Newark Field.
The Texas Royalties PSA Well No. 3H hit 13,900 feet 5.2 miles northeast of Godley. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.933 million cubic feet of gas.
The Lancaster Well No. hit 10,282 feet 7.5 miles northwest of Godley and potentialed 1.847 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Lancaster Well No. 17H hit 8,937 feet 7.5 miles northwest of Godley and potentialed 2.530 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
The East Newark Field has seen the Briar Oaks Unit Well No. 1H completed by Titan Operating, to 9,476 feet 3.6 miles southeast of Burleson. The well potentialed 2.550 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
XTO Energy completed the Holmes Gas Unit No. II Well No. 3H to 18,028 feet 11 miles northeast of Marquez in the Bear Grass Field. On a 11/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.154 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Limestone County
XTO Energy completed two new wells.
The Pat Oakes Turner Gas Unit II Well No. 11H hit 17,466 feet 4.9 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field and potentialed 5.065 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
The Heaton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 21 hit 12,736 feet 13.2 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 1.701 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

EOG Resources completed the Scoggins Gas Unit Well No. 1H, the 4M Tall Pines Gas Unit Well No. 1H and the Billy Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field.
On a 16/64-inch choke the Scoggins Gas Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 11.601 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 18,170 feet 3.1 miles northeast of Chireno.
On a 16/64-inch choke, the 4M Tall Pines Gas Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 10.443 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 17,925 feet 2.9 miles northeast of Chireno.
On a 14/64-inch choke the Billy Well No. 1H potentialed 4.961 million cubic feet of gas. This well hit 18,420 feet 3.8 miles southeast of Nacogdoches. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Exco Operating completed the Gomez SU A Well No. 1H to 19,544 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. On a 22/64-inch choke the well potentialed 22.863 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Navarro County
Foxfire Productions completed the Galahad PG PCH Well No. 1 to 900 feet one mile southeast of Powell in the Corsicana Field. This well flowed with .5 barrels of crude, no chokes size was recorded. Production is in the Shallow.

Classic Operating completed the Frost-Tenaha Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 12,484 feet in the Carthage Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.078 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
XTO Energy completed the New Horizons Well No. W1H to 16,902 feet 8.3 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage Field. On an 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.115 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Anadarko E&P completed two wells in the Carthage Field.
The E. Borders GU 1 Well No. 6H hit 12,700 feet 7.5 miles southeast of Carthage and potentialed 1.759 million cubic feet of gas on a 42/64-inch choke.
The Frost Lumber Ind. Inc. Unit Well No. 7H hit 13,265 feet 10.6 miles southeast of Carthage and potentialed 3.211 million cubic feet of gas on a 42/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
On a 14/64-inch choke the J.C. Guill Well No. 8 potentialed 855,000 cubic feet of gas. This well was completed 8.9 miles east of Carthage to 6,813 feet by Harleton Oil & Gas in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Travis Peak-Collins.
Robertson County
XTO Energy completed the Duncan Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 to 12,216 feet 9.6 miles north of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.547 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Rusk County
The Ezim Field has seen the Betty Kinney Well No. 1 completed by BRG Lone Star to 12,638 feet. On an open choke the well potentialed 20,000 cubic feet of gas. This well is seven miles east of Reklaw with production in the Travis Peak.
Sabine County
Southwestern Energy Production completed the Crest C (Unit) Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet 14.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 8.809 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
San Augustine County
The Golden Eagles DU Well No. 1H was completed by XTO Energy to 19,128 feet 6.6 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 11.036 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
XTO Energy completed the Gamecocks DU Well No. 1H to 19,145 feet 4.4 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Carthage Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.096 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On a 20/64-inch choke, the Latimer Well No. 1 potentialed 65,000 cubic feet of gas. Maximus Operating completed this well to 10,507 feet 5.9 miles southwest of Joaquin in the Paxton Field. Production was in the Travis Peak.
Tarrant County
Titan Operating completed the Water Plant Unit Well No. 1H to 10,189 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Forest Hill in the East Newark Field. On a 39.2/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.292 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Vantage Fort Worth Energy has completed the Steeples Well No. 1H to 11,333 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.101 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Levy Acres Unit Well No. 2H to 11,820 feet 4.7 miles west of Mansfield in the East Newark Field.
On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.016 million cubic feet of gas in the Barnett Shale.
Devon Energy completed 10 wells in the East Newark Field. All ten wells are 1.8 miles south of Fort Worth and were gauged on an open choke.

The Lilly Well No. 2H hit 11,440 feet 1.8 miles southeast of Kennedale and potentialed 4.205 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Airport Crossing JV Well No. 3H hit 15,367 feet 22 miles northeast of Fort Worth and potentialed 7.327 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Elliston Well No. 1H hit 12,983 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.706 million cubic feet of gas on a.75-inch choke.
The Mallick Unit Well No. 2H hit 12,970 feet .9 miles southwest of White Settlement and potentialed 4.737 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
XTO Energy completed four wells in the East Newark Field.
The Rafael Unit Well No. B 4H and the Rafael Unit Well No. B 5H are 1.6 miles southwest of Mansfield. The No. B4H hit 11,225 feet and potentialed 1.668 million cubic feet of gas on a 24/64-inch choke.
The No. B5H hit 10,365 feet and potentialed 2.021 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke.
The Tran Unit Well No. 3H hit 11,155 feet 1.9 miles southeast of Kennedale and potentialed 3.225 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke.
The Rafael Unit Well No. B 7H hit 11,421 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Mansfield and potentialed 2.584 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Crow Creek Operating completed the Harbour View "B" Well No. 3H to 9,525 feet in the East Newark Field. No location was recorded. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.443 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Tyler County
Ergon Energy Partners completed the Ealand-Wood Well No. 1R to 18,780 feet 4.9 miles southeast of Woodville in the Brookeland Field. On a 36/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.367 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800.
