Permalink Reply by Donna Thornton on June 24, 2011 at 3:58 Yes, thanks so much Tim. I am guessing it will probably start on Deanna Sistrunk alt well 1 (242750). Is that what you would think? Or do you think they will do all 3 of those alt wells at once?
Also, tell Caryn that a customer just left here who had a Spider. She was telling me at the reunion that she would like one. It was sweet to say the least. He said it was a great ride.

I was looking at some of the other wells on SONRIS (Drury Stevens Alternates) and saw that they had drilled several wells on a pad down to about 1,950', and were then drilling deeper. One was drilled to 12,368' before being shown as "Waiting on another rig.". This looks like they intend to drill all the vertical sections on the pad before going horizontal as you mentioned Friday. Thanks for educating me.

You were 100% right OLYMAN. Surface has been set on all six Theresa Spears wells, and all six Deanna Sistrunk wells.
The vertical portions of two Theresa Spears have been drilled and a rig is up to drill this portion ( I'll bet ) of the third.
There was not much update on Jimmy Brown #2. It just said " Waiting On Completion ".
If you hear anything else, just holler!!

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
