Touchstone Minerals is not registered with the LA Secretary of State.  Registration is not a requirement for doing business in the state.  They do have a website but that doesn't tell us much.

Skip, I suppose that the requirement for being registered with LA Secretary of State must be predicated upon the nature of the business. As an Oil and Gas Operator I am required to register and pay an annual fee for license and maintain a satisfactory rating.

They are out of Shreveport but I have not personally dealt with them or know of anyone who has and I'm in the same line of work as them.

Got an offer on some land in Desoto parish from Touchstone Energy, LLC.  Office in Shreveport.  Website says they're a big company.  Not sure if there is a connection to the Shreveport group or not.
