Its been a long time since I posted. Just wondering if there is any activity this year in this area
sections 9 & 10 of 16n 9w.
PetroHawk has completed the Holt well in sec 16 under 9 and has produced it since Feb. 15th.
The well for sec ten has completed drilling the horizontal and the rig was moving the week before Easter. They have wells in sec 3, 15, 21, 22 producing. The Permit for sec 4 they have let expire.
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood. I was referring to the Rogers 10H 1. According to Petrohawk production on this well went to sale in September. Sonris really is very slow updating info. Petrohawk drilled the well but my lease is with Chesapeake. So HK pays Chesapeake and then Chesapeake pays me.
Interesting note, Chesapeake figured our RI on 80 acres instead of 6 acres in Section 9, so they sent a big fat check for 5 mos. production. Oh well the check has to go back. I called to let them know so they will have to cut me another. Will probably be next month. :(
The majority of our 110 acres is in Section 10 (Rogers 10H 1)so if it does as well as the Holt well, then they will have to give it up pretty soon!

WHAT IS THE STATUS ON THESE TWO? RECEIVED DIVISION ORDERS, BUT NOT LISTED ON SONRIS.
Melburn, both wells have been drilled but Sonris shows them as waiting to be completed.

Melburn and Les B,
I talked with QEP a few days ago about these two and was told they went to sales on 07/23/11, but no checks or D.O.'s released yet...

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
