You are in the Bethany-Longstreet field: Chesapeak, Ark-La-Tex Energy, Beusa Energy, Fossil Operating Inc., Goodrich Petroleum and Coronado Energy have all petitioned to drill in the Haynesville shale in sections/townships/ranges close to yours.

please help. i'm n sect28,t13n,r12w and have been offered $5,000/ac by costal land out of lafayette. if anyone is close to this area or know what the going rate is please respond asap. good luck to all and many thanks this has certainly been a helpful resource. keep up the good work

Seems low. They just applied for a haynesville unit in section 33 which is directly south of your section. This was done by long petroleum. You can find it on the DNR site. Your in the red river bulls bayou field.

And please talk with your neighbors and organize if possible. The more of you that come together the better your bargaining position.
