Parker,
Do you are any of your friends have land within these sections? If so when does the current lease expire?
Joe Hahn,

By looking at the map, I believe most of it is owned by three families. There is one small subdivision in 30-17n-12w. I know an owner in that subdivision that is unleased. I've seen the leases and memorandum of leases and assignments pertaining to the large tracts.
having hard time opening this, is this caddo or bossier? thank you.
The DNR has established a "1000 feet" zone, when applying for permit of surface mining. I can only assume the same distance is used for permits of subsurface mining.
Jim, unless I'm in the wrong spot, it is not listed. Since the letter in question is dated Nov. 7, should that application hearing be posted on SONRIS already? I look at the hearing schedule a number of times each week so I am familiar with where to find it. In the past members have mentioned receiving these letters prior to the application appearing on SONRIS.
Gotta give those state employees time to work! Its probally still in transit from one dept to the next.
I just received a Unitization Hearing Notice on from SWEPI.
My land is already unitized, but the new units are adjacent to mine, I guess they sent it to us as 'interested parties'.
Anyway, will it be posted on SONRIS, or should I post it here.
I don't think there is any news here, but I will post if anyone thinks it will be helpful.
It is for HVA 11-13K ft depth, and CVA 9-11 ft depth.
Sec 5,4,8,10,11,12, 13 T10N R12w, Sec 24, 35 T10N R12W Sec 6, 3,8,9,10,11 T9N R12W

Sent by Liskow and Lewis on behalf of Shell, dated Nov 5.
There is an email address for more information rwrevels@liskow.com
All hearings will be posted on the conservation web page. The information will include a copy of the application and public notice. There will be a public notice in the newspaper as well.
Parker,

The notice you posted is for the Pre-Hearing Conference and will not be posted on the Sonris website. After the Pre-Hearing Conference, the o/g company will then submit their untization application to the Commissioner, they will state that the Conference was held, if there was one, and then a date for the Hearing will be scheduled in Baton Rouge. It is this application and notice for the Hearing that will be posted on Sonris and in the local newspapers for the particular area.
Parker,

We received two notices on Saturday, both from Liskow & Lewis on behalf of EnCana Oil & Gas (dated 7 Nov) referring to a proposal to "force pool" T17N R12W Section 7, 18, 17, 16, 19, 20, 21 and 29, 30, 31, 32 and T17N 13W Section 36. Between the two notices there are 12 proposed drilling and production units. All in South Bossier and two of the sections border ours but we are not included.
I am in one of the proposed unit sections with about 4 acres. I checked the Bossier Clerk of Court records and Encana has leased land from Sligo Road/Hwy 71(Gray Lands) and to the east they purchased deep leases from another company including Sec 16 (Fite O & G). This took place this past summer. Apparently they will be finishing out leases in those sections by force pooling.
Has anyone had any experience with not leasing, but retaining 100% royalty? Probably the bonus dollars will be significantly less and may be worth holding out.
