I have heard 25 oil wells are planned for northwest and southwest caddo parish (Greenwood to Blanchard area). Does anyone know what depth these are planned for? I know some have been offered 400 to 1000 an acre for minerals.

I haven't seen any unit applications or well permits to support the rumor, Suzan. And until your post most of the reports of recent lease offers have been north of Caddo Lake and in Marion County. The bonus offer range you mention would be pretty aggressive compared to other recently reported offers. If you can provide the name of the company making the lease offers, I will check the Caddo Clerk's records to see if they are recording leases. Without some additional information it is difficult to judge just exactly what may be behind the offers. Maybe some other members can help with some additional details.
