That is probably how they will gather all registered firearms KB. Search and seizure is a little trickier with an armed polulace tho.

I really dont care if a soldier needs to stay at my house( #3 ?). As long as he is one of ours I would gladly put them up. Point being that not all the Amdm's are on the same level.But I am not willing to relinquish any of them either. I would rather be armed, while I am raising sand about Amdm # 18 for any of you drinkers out there. Oh yea , they already repealed that one.

They would be violating 2 as well as 4 in your argument.

The only reason I say what I say is , without the second there isnt any reason for them to keep the other amendments nor is there any way for us to stop it without threat of revolt.

Question KB, Why havent they gone after any of the other amendments first ?
If you feel that the Patriot act is a violation worth removing the safety that we have had since 9/11 then this question to you is mute but I would still enjoy your responce.

What in the world matters when a 747 is landing in the middle of a skyscraper in downtown where ever ? You know what rights you have then ? THE RIGHT TO DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH !

How many years have they already been doing that crap anyway ? Did they just start listening ?

The only time I have ever said anything about the others not mattering was when I joked about prohibition and housing soldiers. They do matter KB, but guess what...............We do not feel that the liberals will try to infringe on any of the others before they try the 2nd.History repeats itself.They wont go after the 1st because thats how the libs survive. Saying crazy stuff then trying to force everyone else into swallowing it.

Look at the crazies in Caly right now.Snatching crosses out of 80 year old ladies hands because they have a problem with Fred and Ted being on each others insurance. Libs dont have a problem with Fred and Ted. They have a problem with me. Thats OK tho. I am kinda used to it by now. I do wish you guys would quit sleepwalking before you ask me to wake up. When they come after one of the others I will surely stand beside you KB, as long as I can count on you on this one.

Paulson and the Bush administration will leave the house wearing this crises coat. Moon or Rush one had a great analagy for this guy Obama and the economy: He compared Him to Donald Trump and AIG, he is to big to fail. They have to much of there Time, money and reputation invested in this guy. If he does screw up they will cover it up for him, make some one else look bad for it....He is in a win win situation.

I like it. On that note, it is fun to moan and groan about the future political landscape. However, I hope that for the good of the country everying works out for the better. There are many people out there who want to see Obama fail so the republican propects will look bettter in four years. I on the hand, realize that the political fortunes tend to swing left and right. Also, The republicans failed to do what we sent them there in the first place...reduce the size and scope of government, esp. the out of control spending.

Ann,
KB is too much of a lady to address your request and I am not so I am going to take up for her. She has been a source of valuable information to us. She has been here since day one and has been our go to girl. Many of us don't share her political persuasion but she is entitled to her opinions, and as such we respect her. She is a person of integrity and is candid and very forthright. You can't find fault with those 2 attributes.

I too share Cathaus' sentiments. I don't always agree with K.B. politically but respect her immensely.

I'm afraid if you had been attacked so diligently, you might have a few choice words instead of a funny play on words.

Or did you not "get it"?
