My grandparent is deceased, and my mom would have been her heir but she is deceased too. I am the executor of my mother's estate.
Is it possible for an Estate of my mother to collect royalty payments? Will the operating company cut a check to the Estate of Diane Boone, for example?

They will probably suspend payments until they get certain information (probably including a copy of the Will, if there was one, heirship information, etc) and a Tax ID Number for the Estate.
