BLM is scoping leases in Trinity County nominated for the October lease sale.  tracts are on the east side of the county, in a position that suggests they are in the Angelina River trend of the Haynesville.

It might include some areas that were in the Bearing Fire, which might make for an interesting approval process for surface disturbance.

Would suggest that one tract is near the Ranch Club and the others would be near Helmic

 All seem to be West of the Neches River which would tend to down play the Haynesville trend theory  IMHO

I think it's an extension of the EFS activity in Houston Co.

I think the sites close to Helmic will be in the fire damaged area.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
