Cat equipment arrived yesterday in Pennington to start road for pad. 3.5 inches of rain last night halted this action. Hopeful for the end of the week. Still looking for drilling permit to be posted.

Still just treading water in Pennington--figuratively- cause we dont really have any water-no rain at all. No word since pads finished. They said drilling rig would be here in 3 weeks-its been 6 weeks. XTO and some others still popping up asking people to lease-does not seem to be in any real pattern. Somehow I am not impressed with oil company project management. I took alittle trip out to Vegas to see some lights cause I sure havent seen any oil derrick lights in this area.

Oil company motto - hurry up and wait

Vernon,

Suggest everyone click on the "rule 37" it took me direct to a Ben Elmore's excellent explanation post --------- in past and recent experiences I have been able to call the RRC and get a TRACKING NUMBER that would open a TRRC file on the permit issue that would show filings and give one some insight to the issues at hand. Suggest while you have the RRC on the phone you ask where and how to enter the tracking # for I have already forgotten how etc.

Have heard that a band will be playing in the area some time in July or August, no later than September.  Band member got held over in an earlier location.

Less flooding that time of year in White Rock Bottom

Thanks for the tip. Did you see Vernon's post about being contacted about pipeline ROW? I think XTO is still tying up lease ends and  actually putting pipeline plans through. Saw quite a few DOT trucks in the area the last 2 days going back and forth around the pads.

This was posted today to the Abbey Road 2H TRRC application file:

"Received protest from Dan D Fisher representing Etoco LP.  06/27/2012 11:51:44 AM  RRC STAFF"

I do not find any permits for Etoco in Houston County?  I wonder what this is all about.  Perhaps they have leased acreage adjacent  to this site.

Scan Texas rigging down near Marquez. Heading to Abbey#1 sometime this week.

Thanks Lucky

News Flash  - heavy rain predicted for Houston County starting today and continuing through the week.  It ought to be nearly biblical.

Thanks Lucky

R Data does confirm Scan Texas Rig is 25 days on a 14,000' vertical in Robertson Co. for XTO so they should be finishing up  but gives no indication where they will move to.

Trivium "Dan Ackley" is the ONLY well shown drilling this week in Houston County and it shows to be near TD   not sure where it will move to but Trivium does have some HORIZONTALS permitted just across the river in Leon Co. that should be an exciting new twist

Scan Texas moving possibly the 18th or 19th. It doesn't give me the lease name but the directions for there next location is 8.4 miles southeast of Crockett on 287 to Cr 4150.

 Thanks Lucky,

What service are you reading from ?

BTW - that address WILL put it on the "Abbey Road" Location
