Dose anyone know who they are leasing for in the North Caddo Parrish (Mooringsport /Blanchard) area?

the offers have been less than fair... anyone else been contacted by these companies?
Both companies have recorded a number of memos of lease with the Caddo Clerk of Court. Memos only give notice of the lands leased and the lease term so there's no way to know any other details. The memos of lease cover large and small mineral tracts.
What's your definition of "fair" ? Just curious...
not sure if you are asking what the offers are but, I guess my definitions of fair would be an offer that I am comfortable letting a Oil/Gas company put my family and neighborhood through all the long term problems associated with drilling. I am hearing that it is Adanarko.

After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
