 Thanks for this confirmation of what many of us believed for over a year ---- that CHK was calling the shots for Western Chief ---- as the leasing evolved CHK picked a small area near Austonio bounded by roads and survey lines and refused to cross these boundaries and Western Chief picked up on the south border of this area and leased along in a parallel swath and Terrace/Trivium picked up on the North Boundary of the CHK leases and moved along in a similar parallel swath and all 3 companies refused to compete against one another ------ believe that CHK was trying to mask their area of interest from other companies and landowners -------- wonder how long it will be before we find out who is behind Trivium ? and wonder about the final ownership now that CHK is having $ troubles also ------ anyway looks like a couple of brick laying brothers did pretty well for themselves considering.

DH - I'm sure the ties are in the money - At this point, I don't know of interconnection between Trivium and WC/Interstate/CHK, but the leasing pattern makes sense - particularly why bonus offers never got up.  I think I can link Trivium to one of other operators, but have never found public confirmation.  

Inquiring minds want to know - is Halcon linked to this?  Can Range, Fidelity, SM, EOG, XTO, Navidad, Burk, etc be linked back?  I'd love to get an Encana or Leor link in as well.  

My gut is at this point we've got 3 or 4 big groups that are largely staying out of each others way, and that individual operators within those groups are working the pieces.

DH, dbob don't know if the means anything to this discussion but when we signed our lease with Terrace/Trivium that the "people" who started Terrace were former XTO people.

  Thanks for joining us ----- why do you think they need 3 flow lines ? ---- any idea where this "central" location for the SWD and other yardage will be ? or the next few wells ?

If conditions are right, they'll have one line to the SWD for disposal, one high pressure line for gas early in the well history, and a lower pressure line for going to a central compression site after the well declines.  Alternatively, one line could be for oil/condensate/liquids.

Texas54 - I also understand that former XTO folks are in Trivium, but haven't gotten any type of financial or other link back to XTO.  Trivium may also be linked to some of the companies , but I'd like to find public confirmation.

ALL,

  Make no mistake about it, Interstate is permitting new wells on Western Chief acreage so Western Chief's "operator status" has CHANGED ---------- a couple more wells in the near future are to be anticipated -----

 Does anyone know how to check the RRC and see if Interstate has officially taken over from Western Chief ?  -- Water being transferred out of frac pond at "Worley" by truck at about maybe 100 loads a day ---- believe it is going to "Frank Smith" frac job but I have not followed the trucks etc.

Change of operator was filed on 9-11-12 for David Blakely, 225-31210 & Knight, 225-31229 but not on James Worley, 225-31225 or Frank Smith, 225-31230.  If they are completing Worley and Smith they can just turn in the change for those with the completion paperwork.

Interstate has two pending permits for Gamble #1 and Patrick #1. No API # yet.

  "Worley" well is the one that had a blowout while fracing about 6 weeks back--- it is still in a state of disrepair with a ruptured casing down deep, blame has been laid on inferior Chinese Casing Pipe ----- reportedly Interstate already owned the majority of the WC play and just bought WC out and took over Operator Status

also reportedly WC was trying to sell their interest at Aug NAPE  Expo.   ---- IMHO WC just plain old ran out of money and could not keep drilling

Rode out to the Frank Smith today. Looks as if frac job is over. They had water lines ran from David Blakeley down the county road to Frank Smith, they are busting them up as we speak. Gas plant looks completed has a sign that says Interstate gas plant Kinder Morgan. Looks much smaller then Navidads in Weldon tho.
