I received monthly gas statement from El Paso last week.
They listed 18 wells producing on the 40 acres. HOW CAN THIS BE ???
Many alternates listed.

its probably 18 wells in a640acre unit. if i had the wells serial numbers i could tell you more. your 40 acres is part of the unit
The 40 acres are included in one or more drilling units. Gas units are usually larger than oil units for conventional wells and in LA are typically 320 acres or larger. Units formed for horizontal development can be larger still. If you need a more detailed response you need to provide some detail. State. Section-township-range or survey. Well names and/or serial numbers. Operator or operators.
