Skip, thank you for the information. I have 140 acres that I own tied up here, but have heard nothing since signing the lease. As I am in Indiana, kind of hard to keep track. If I read this correctly, we have a well which holds the lease, but there has been no production, am I correct? How long could this situation go on, or are we stuck for years not being able to lease again, but also getting no income?
I truly appreciate your input.
James, there has been 20 months of production (18 reported to date as shown above). You are owed for production to date of about 3 billion cubic feet of gas. You need to contact Chesapeake to see why you have not been paid on this well.
Thanks, was reading wrong, saw all of the -0- as opposed to the production column. we will follow up.
Skip, as I noted I am here in Indiana. We own 680 acres scattered around in Sabine Parish. Some is leased, some is not. Could I work with you on a consulting fee basis to determine if anything his happening on other two leases, and to determine what may be going on or planned for our other areas. Two big areas are between Zwolle and Many off the "Old Many Road" and I note some activity on the West of Many.
Under lease we also have property in Sect 35 of 8-14 and the lease was extended last year with Franks Perto.
I need someone who can keep be posted as to activity, or maybe represent us to proposed companies for lease.
Jim

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
