In town for a few days & noticing a lot of activity in T14/R14 of the Holly Field. New areas being cleared by bulldozers off Hwy 171 near Kickapoo on what looks like Burford's land, rock trucks going in and out of old drill sites. Anyone have any news. I know Encana is supposedly bringing in 5 rigs to concentrate on their core areas and Encana has a lot of these leases in the Holly

iT is the east side of 171 about 2 miles north of Kickapoo where I saw the bulldozers working. It is about in the corner of sections 7,8,17,18. Friends of mine say they have been working on it for a couple of weeks. That is a lot of dozer work. Could just be regular old land clearing though. It just seemed a coincidence that Encana is coming back in with 5 rigs and all of a sudden you see a lot of land clearing.
