Charles, these are permitted as non-unitized horizontal Mid CV (Cotton Valley) wells.  Wildhorse will unitized this section sometime before the second well is spud.  The first well will become the "unit" well and the other 3 will then become alternate unit wells 1 thru 3.  The unit application may already be on the Commissioner's public hearing schedule.

These wells all drill through 2 different pre-existing lower CV units with producing wells. I have never heard of the "middle" CV, only the upper and lower, but if the Mid CV is a legitimate zone it should get its own unit. If they don't unitize the Mid CV separately, they would have to apply for cross-unit well authorization to share production between the two existing LCV units.

Andrew:

What is your per-hour bill rate?  You always do such good work.  Impressive.

Charles,

Wildhorse is and will be drilling multi well pads throughout the area as they determine feasibility. They currently have one rig on a 16 well pad and have one other 16 well pad built and ready when they decide to put a rig on it. These are sometimes referred to as spider pads due to the fact that the horizontals go out from the pad in just about every direction possible.
