Could anyone tell me if the well #  241778 is running dry.Ch ecks dwendling down to nothing. Received a little from Encana, Nothing from Shell.

Also are thry drilling any new wells being drilled in that field. Grogan Pleasant Hill?. Can they drill another well in that same section?

A look at sonris shows this well has produced about 4.5 Bcfe to date, and production is declining.  Some companies do not write monthly checks if the amount is below $100 -- they wait until the cumulative amount gets up to $100 before sending a check, so maybe that's why you haven't yet heard from Shell.  

Yes, more wells can be drilled in this section.  However, I would not count on it for a long time.   You can go to the Baker Hughes site and monitor rig activity at:

This site shows nothing going on in lower DeSoto and upper Sabine Parishes right now.

My best guess is that all wells in this area will produce at a low rate for a long time to keep the leases in force.  It will take higher prices and greater demand for gas to get drilling started again.  Maybe in several years, if we are exporting gas and some of the new plants come on line in Louisiana, drilling might pick up again.
