The Tekxon wells in Trinity County were cancelled - I assume by the proponents. Most likely due to lack of funds. Also, a planned Seismic survey in San Jacinto County was canceled. The seismic was limited to a particular area, and again, was probably canceled by the proponents.

Did you see the XTO project listed for drilling a new gas well---wonder where that is????? It gives the federal lease no but didn't list the county.
That well permit is in Shelby County Sabine NF.
or maybe because they didn't pay their lease rentals

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
