Anyone heard of anything happening west of Wilson?

My wag is that the next well drilled "west of Wilson" will be in the northeast corner of W. Feliciana Parish shown on their map as the Goodrich Melancon 81H#1. It could spud in mid to late March is my estimation.

Great news! We're due west of that. Hesitant about getting excited, but anxious to hear it's a GREAT well! Please keep us posted about that, if you can, Steve.

Halcon should drill there 1 st well near there at Horseshoe Hill

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
