Anadarko has three rigs currently drilling in Panola.  None in Shelby but XTO has two.

Linda--- as old saying Goes-----Location. Location, Location...............

some minerals in some locations at spec formations/depth  have been tested and if marginal or P & A-- then these minerals are DEAD while some other area will be leased in future when prices allow

But the "Gold Rush" in Shale in HV is over but that does not mean the total play is for proven select areas will be drilled with good money to be made by operator and mineral owners

What's your feeling about oil over there?

Linda---- the so call Shelby Trough in the South part of Shelby southeast of Center back to South West into north central Nac Co.and Northwest to central  San Augustine Co. still has activity with XTO permitting and drilling several wells today. Most is dry gas with little liquids in Shale mostly Bossier Shale some HS. Little oil in Petti and James lime plus some very very shallow small oil.

Up in NW Shelby near Joaquin is some H CV wells drilling by Classic in the old Travis Peak Field

Oil in north west Shelby, close to Panola line. Well we stand by and wait for news. As history goes, what Jesus did this time of the year hardly makes one ask for more. We are getting close to retirement age, whatever that age might be in this economy. We are blessed and waitin for more. Thanks for info. New at this so I hang on to every word. Pray for those who have wells going and for those who don't. Take care,
Linda

linda-- where are your mineral located? I am in Joel White-- probably dead with Batts results very poor

21 acres more or less in the Alexander Cameron Survey, Abstract 110, and RJ Johnson Survey, Abstract 387, situated in Shelby County Texas. Recorded volume 347, pg. 568 , Deed records. William Harlon Eakins, et ux, to G.W.Youngblood dated Dec.1955.
