We were told that the fracking on the Sharp well was done incorrectly and that several engineers were released as a result.  SWN had to inject some sort of "acidic" substance to correct the situation and there would be no royalties for this month.  As many have stated here.... the lack of accurate timely information is the most frustrating thing.

Does anyone know what really happened?

One is Talisman and I THINK the other was SM Energy...don't quote me on that and unfortunately I do not know the names of any of the possible wells there were thinking about fracing again.  Sorry for the lack of information.

Thanks, no apology required.  Both Talisman and SM are publicly traded companies.  Their corporate news releases and presentations may make mention of re-fracturing wells.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
