Is any one else having problems with AIX paying late with back dated checks and back dated metered mail?

AIX is paying me over a month late for royalties in Claiborne Parish.  They are dating the checks 3 to 4 weeks before they actually mail them and are using metered mail to back date the mailing date.  Are other AIX royalty owners having this problem?  Seems to me it is illegal, more importantly appears AIX is having cash flow problems.
