Looking at the permit further, I see that the above well is listed as directional instead of horizontal.

Glad to see this well has been permitted. Looks as if it will have about 4600' of lateral in the formation.

SONRIS reports on 7/1/15 that the Vanguard W.T. Owens directional well has been spudded:

SPUD 6/13/15; SET 9 5/8 TO 1879'

Obed, finished the W.T. Owens, spudded the Hightower on  7/4/15.

Obed, I heard a RUMOR today that the W.T. Owens was a good well. Hope the RUMOR is correct.

SONRIS has released results on the neighboring JB OWENS vertical well in 13-23N-7W (serial #248839), and they seem pretty decent:

125 bbl 50 gravity condensate per day, 1670 MCF per day, 138 bbl water, 2125 psi casing pressure, 14/64" choke,  perforations from 9766'-10350'.

Sorry, the lower perforation depth is 10040 instead of 10350.
