1.) What is the current daily rate for hiring an independent CPL with experience of 10 years or more in the Shreveport area?
2.) What is the current yearly salary for a company CPL with experience of 10 years or more?

I know a dollar range for your question. The American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) does a very comprehensive salary/comesation survey every 3 or so years. You would greatly benefited by findind a copy of the last one they did. I let someone borrow mine and they never returned it. If you go to their website you might be able to find it there.
I think the answer to your first question is probably between $400 to $450. In todays market there is not that much work so its hard to say if these rates would hold up. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
