Was really shocked when I saw a drilling platform erected behind our home just outside the city limits of Alvin, Texas in Brazoria County.  There is 200 or so undeveloped acres behind our home and we noticed some activity within the last few months; retention pound dug, water well drilled, and wood mat road.  I drove by the entrance and there was nothing posted so I just went on back and asked; Black Creek Drilling/ Winn Exploration/ Natural gas/ drilling vertical to 9800 ft.

Last December we were two weeks from drilling when the bottom fell out and the plan was placed on hold.  I find it very interesting that there is drilling in my :back yard"
