does anybody know of a easy way to look for work permits in a certain field or company
very time consuming to go well by well, I'm specifically looking for refracts.

Hope that I know what u r asking. Go to wells by organization name and type in the organizations name. It will give u a code to look for after u pull up permitted wells by parish. Then look for your code under organization ID
Work permits are the last (bottom) section of a SONRIS Data Access Well File. There is no separate database section for work permits, you have to look well by well. You can do that by township, field or operator.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
