I have had many offers for minerals in section 5 in Belmont Louisiana, can anyone tell me what is the best thing to do? Just would like to hear some thoughts from someone else.

Never allow yourself to feel pressured into making a decision quickly. This stuff isn't going to just up and disappear, the interest may wax and wain, but it's there until it's harvested.

Another thing I have to keep reminding myself, I could be getting nothing...
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
