This completion news came in a number of weeks back. The new Ashland well wasn't a so-called barnburner, but it did okay on the stats. Not great, but okay.
Fingers crossed that Aethon will proceed with their 3-well plan at this particular location,
Of course, as some folks know, Aethon is presently looking for a buyer to gobble up its HA assets. Therein, the Ashland Field might be an extra card hand in their poker-game strategy to fatten their NG footprint to entice a deal with a bigger gorilla buyer.

It's a good well, Jesse. On a more open choke setting, the MCFD would likely be considerably higher. Many HA wells, particularly long laterals, are flowed on choke settings around 24/64 when first turned to sales. The best data point is the pressure, 9225# is quite good.
Thank you for your insight, Skip. Last I heard, the family still doesn't have a lease with Aethon. You'd think their land department would want to tie up the loose end.
Have you tried to contact Aethon? If you own a reasonable acreage, they might respond positively. Lots of things fall through the cracks in leasing and title work.
