Good to hear. Thanks for the report!

SONRIS showing Precision Rig 561 move in/rigging up on Ser#253123.

This completion news came in a number of weeks back. The new Ashland well wasn't a so-called barnburner, but it did okay on the stats. Not great, but okay.

Fingers crossed that Aethon will proceed with their 3-well plan at this particular location,

Of course, as some folks know, Aethon is presently looking for a buyer to gobble up its HA assets. Therein, the Ashland Field might be an extra card hand in their poker-game strategy to fatten their NG footprint to entice a deal with a bigger gorilla buyer.

Wonder if XTO is interested?

04/12/2022 10 20744 13208 COMPLETED 11/26/21; GAS; 11985 MCFD; 18/64 CHOKE; 9225# FP & CP; PERFS 10360-20586'

It's a good well, Jesse.  On a more open choke setting, the MCFD would likely be considerably higher.  Many HA wells, particularly long laterals, are flowed on choke settings around 24/64 when first turned to sales. The best data point is the pressure, 9225# is quite good.

Thank you for your insight, Skip. Last I heard, the family still doesn't have a lease with Aethon. You'd think their land department would want to tie up the loose end.

Have you tried to contact Aethon?  If you own a reasonable acreage, they might respond positively.  Lots of things fall through the cracks in leasing and title work.

I'll talk to the family.

The website was the brainchild of Keith Mauck, a landowner and entrepreneur who recognized a pressing need: landowners in the region had little access to…
