Hi Skip,
I have some acreage in 025 14N 10W in Red River Parish there is one older producing well and 5 new wells all drilled and fracked. Work appears to have stopped now. There has been a lot of work on gas pipes including a 24" pipe going west heading toward the Red River. Do you know if the wait is for a pipeline or an increase in gas prices or both. We are still receiving offers to buy our royalties with an uptick in interest.

The staff has the authority to force the operator to shut in a well until all required reports are received and approved. O&G companies get away with a lot but when they are caught red handed they know to get in compliance pronto.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
