Hi Skip,
I have some acreage in 025 14N 10W in Red River Parish there is one older producing well and 5 new wells all drilled and fracked. Work appears to have stopped now. There has been a lot of work on gas pipes including a 24" pipe going west heading toward the Red River. Do you know if the wait is for a pipeline or an increase in gas prices or both. We are still receiving offers to buy our royalties with an uptick in interest.

Hi, billy. There is no place to find out for sure regarding the pipeline issue in the public record but the last entry on the well scout report seems to indicate that the pipeline connection could be the cause of the delay in turning the wells to sales and reporting them complete to the state.
WAITING ON OFFSET WELL OPS.
SONRIS will update when Tellurian updates their reports.
Members who follow SONRIS data should be aware that the Office of Conservation staff does not monitor wells to see if required reports are unduly delayed. The SONRIS staff processes reports as they are received and then post the data to the database. Only in instances where someone points out exceptionally long delays does the OOC District staff investigate. I went to the Shreveport District office once to point out a well in Lincoln Parish that was completed nine or ten months earlier that had not submitted a completion report. Once made aware, the staff fired off a letter to the operator and got them in compliance. The staff has the authority to force the operator to shut in a well until all required reports are received and approved. O&G companies get away with a lot but when they are caught red handed they know to get in compliance pronto.
