Does anyone have information about how many well bores have penetrated the Haynesville Shale Zone in Cass County?

This is great. The logs will show the Haynesville in that area, and may create more activity.
Do you have an exact location or well number? Thanks for your help .

The well is in the B Holmes survey, A-447, Cass County. The well # API 067-30524. All it shows on the permit is 1 mile NE of Mcleod Tx.

Tom, I just left a message for Electrlolyte (member) that I am getting off at 3:oo today. Will go to every Matador well site along HWY 1 and find out all info I can on locations. in that area to get fresh info. I will also call Matador today and ask them, They may not tell me much,but they owe me lease money by Friday. If that doesn't work, I'll call my landmand and ask him were pretty good friends. He will tell me everything he knows{ if he can. This is a cutthroat business, very secrative. They all know about this web sight and will throw curves. So, I will do the best I can todayand let you . also so far the wells they are drilling vert. are drilling northward about 3500ft. each. Will let you Know. also the info I gather , it is better is better to keep info closely kept within your group. Talk to you this afternoon, P.S. Like I told Electro you'll owe me a truck wash after this muddy excursion ( Just kidding), Joe

I see where they are setting Tanks and working on piplines in the area @ 16-19-16 Noel Estate I know they drilled but no info.

Grey wolf drilled a well on Wigins Rd off of Swansons Landing on the south side of Caddo lake I have not heard anything on this one but I helped a Man that had a flat-tire about a month ago he said they where drilling to 11,500

ITgreen, Union County, Arkansas is about 30 miles Due EAST of Cass County, Tx., and while I'm sure you will have information that will be helpful to all it is something that was impossible to communicate before. That is one reason I'm so excited about having a site that can communicate over County, Parish, and State lines. Thanks for your input.

The migration is slow, but the oil companies are looking for the boundries of the Haynesville and continue to go North and West.

I talked to my contact at Matador thursday, he told me that they are finished drilling for a while, Drill rigs will stay on C.C.M.P. and new Hall locations until pipelines are complete and gas prices rise. Just good Business. Will lease more land in mean time. He also said that Hall #9 is producing very well. I will check with CHPKE and see what their plans are for in our area. I have good. Has any test results been released on the Hall 9?

Thomas I now have the inital production of the Hall #9. It came in at 2.6 million cubic feet per day . That would be good for a vertical well but this is a horizontal well and it isn't considered a barnburner for the investment. Now for the good news. 1. There is 315 feet thickness of shale at that well. 2. That is a considerable amount more than where the barnburner wells are. 3. The porosity is less or tighter than down south, which will mean there will be different techiniques used when fracing than down south. 4. I personally think as we speak some very smart people are working to figure this out and will have the problem solved in the near future.
