I recently received ownership to mineral rights of some land I've owned in Frierson,La for over ten years, Im read where someone in desoto parish recent resign a lease with J W back in March or April. I need to know when were the leases with J W up. Since I am new to this area as a land owner can someone help me. ms.d

Was it the comment I made on the other Frierson thread? If so, I was referring to Sec. 15, 15n 13w. J & W had some Cotton Valley wells there and the landowner had a Pugh Clause in their lease with J & W. J & W signed the landowner again for the Haynesville depths in late March or April, 2008.

Foxiecajun, If you research the leases, could you omit posting the name of the landowner. She is a widow in her 70s and I would hate for her to start getting crank calls. She is the one that I am referring to that signed for $650.00 an acre.
