Skip, landowner in 16 18 12; received preapplication letter. Meeting was Fri 3/20 any info?
Thanks for time and info you provide.
sherry. I have not heard anything as yet. Considering the number of GHS members with interest in this area of Bossier Parish, I would think someone would have attended the pre-conference. You might check on the Bossier Parish Group.
Skip,Sherry
I looked at the east 80 web site and Eric did attend and is supposed to give the members an update later. I left him a comment and asked if would post a summary on the Bossier Parish group when he could.
Thanks, Catfish. I will be interested to hear Eric's report.
Skip, Do you know the where the well will be located in T14 n 8w?
Sorry, Bruce. I do not.
Bruce, were you interested in a particular section in 14N-8W?. I have not seen any permitted wells in that area of the Martin Field.
sections 16, 17, and 22.
Bruce, thanks for the additional information. I took another look and still didn't find any permitted well in T14N-R8W. The closest activity is Samson's Haynesville Unit in Section 31.
Les B, Thanks for looking.
The number of drilling & production units in both townships gives an indication of future development. The question is, how far in the future? Hard to tell. My crystal ball just ain't that good. Other than Encana and Questar, the operators with Haynesville units in the two townships are: J-W Operating, KCS Resources (subsidiary of Petrohawk), Palmer Petroleum, EXCO, Matador, Stroud Petroleum and Chesapeake. These townships are within the core area of the Shale. They should be fully developed in the early years of the play.
that is very good information and thanks very much. All i really need to know. thanks again.
