Anyone have any dealings with them and how big a player are they
in this shale. I haven't heard too much about them but I might have
missed something.

Thanks. I appreciate your honesty. If only some of these other yahoo's would do the same, we would all be better off. What do you believe the TOP to be? Any input?
Just something that I left out of my previous post was that I talked to my first cousin in South Sabine this morning she lives around Florien and has about 500 acres. my advice to her was to wait 6 months to a year, don't contact them and let them contact you. I will not say what I think it will go to because I may have to play in the game. All I can say is the play is larger than they say.
I appreciate your candor. You restore my faith in landmankind!
Thanks
Thomas R. Scarbrock,

How about South Claiborne Parish...will XTO be in that area as well? We have 255 acres to give them a start!

I can't say for sure but I would bet you are in the play. This is so big they can't let the buzzards see their hand. The less info the outsiders have the better it will be for the landowner.
Including NELA Union, Ouachita, or Caldwell parishes? I'm sick of the area I love being in the poorest part of the nation while having some of the best people I've ever met.
My mother was from Clarks in Caldwell Parish. The days of the poorest are finaly coming to an end.

Hi James the only thing I can offer about XTO is that I've followed the market for years and XTO as well as Chesapeake have made investors pretty good returns--in other words XTO is a verifiable winner.
