I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO FIND ON SONRIS THE OPERATOR OF RECORD AT THE TIME A WELL PERMIT IS APPLIED FOR. HAVE BEEN THROUGH SONRIS CANT LOCATE.

WELL GOT IN AND PUT THE SERIAL NUMBER IN IT CAME UP NO DOCUMENTS FOUND. GUESS HAVE TO GOT TO DNR OFFICE FOR INFO. ITS ON A WELL THAT WAS PERMITTED IN 1975
THAT IS STILL ACTIVE AND PRODUCING. DONT KNOW WHY NO INFO UNLESS THEY DONT GO BACK THAT FAR

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
