Has any one heard that the Messenger well has been closed down and that the area is considered not a good area

My uncle lived on a house boat there and fished every day that he could until he died. His ashes were spread at his favorite spot.

I never got to visit while he was alive. I actually didn't even like him.

But I had to admire that he spent his last years simple doing what he enjoyed most.

Now if you really want to hijack this discussion, explain to me why any sensible person wants to be embalmed. I want to be crispy fried. I'll be long gone, so I don't understand the concept.

And mean to us hopeful prune juice-ites, too!
Back to the MESSANGER.

Even if it does get shut-in, that doesn't make the area a bad area.

It may turn out to be the very best area. Time will tell.
Aubrey,
Glad to see that you just blessed us with your presence here on GHS. I must say, it really gets my goat when a newcomer makes their first post talking down the shale. Of course you may see marginal wells shut in due to lack of market. But surely you know that this well is a vertical, and the highest producing vertical to date. A post like yours is easily interpreted as implying that the Messenger area may not look that good. When in fact, its results as a vertical indicate just the opposite.

But I am sure you know that, because you seem to know a lot.......

By the way, care to share your credentials with us?
I agree BD,

Too much good going on to focus on the bad. As you said though, the Messenger is a great vertical.
There is so much that can take place in a situation like that, it is really hard to speculate what may have happened.
Gosh, that burger did look good.
No kidding, it's probably the best spot in the entire HS. That's why there are so many companies paying huge dollars there.
JoeK,
I never said it was the best spot in the HS. And everyone knows they are not paying huge dollars anywhere.

So, whats your point?
Not for fact, I was told that. Go check it out.
JoeK,
Why didn't you check it out before you started bumping your gums?

Did someone tell you the sky was falling?

ha ha ha ha

You better get under the barn!
JoeK,
Why don't you check it out?

What the heck are you a landman looking for a cheap lease?
It makes no difference if the Messenger is shut in.
And if you truly know ANYTHING you know that.

Sleep good, little man.
By the way JoeK, what do you do for a living?
