RE: 15/14 has anyone heard when sec. 20 or sec. 21 will be drilled? Any inside info? Encana has all of 20 now and drilling to east of there

For Sec. 20, 15n 14w, I checked the leases in the courthouse records but did not see any leases recorded on behalf of Encana. Most of the leases recorded in 2008 and 2009 were Chesapeake leases.

Are you saying that Encana received assignment of all the Chesapeake leases? I don't think that Chesapeake will let go of any of their leases anytime soon.

A pad is being built in the southeast corner of Sec. 14 15n 14w. The landowner told me that it was being prepared on behalf of Encana.

Insomniac, my typo. Encana has all of Sec. 21 (not 20 as I typed) of 15/14 now. Sorry about that. I don't know much about Sec. 20, but I have heard that it is held by an old well. Encana bought those wells inn 21, so they control that section now. They are drilling all around there on J.B. Davis's property now.
Also Encana has most of the sections in 14/14 Desoto too.

Encana has a location permitted in the southeast corner of sec 21. SONRIS lists it as the Bobby Dyson 21H 1 and it is permitted for a measured depth of 17,000 ft MD and 12,000 ft TVD, so it will be a horizontal well. The DNR serial number is 239783 and the API number is 17031247820000. The permits were filed in early May...no indication of when drilling may start.

There is a sign on the location with Pinnacle and arrow pointing toward the Dyson location, so that rig should be up soon

Does anybody have any update information on this well? I heard last week they were at 11,000 feet, should be near completion.
