I just left the site. Everything is ready to go. I checked "info box" the well has 1/2 choke on it. All they need to do is pig the line and it should be rready to go. Maybe we can finally get an idea how north of town will do. Joe

Keep us informed, but I was hearing 2 million/day. I'm not eyes on the ground like you are, Joe. Hope it is a great well.
I am hoping that!!! I am hoping that the big guys r wrong!!! Hopefully, this well will prove them wrong!!! Good Luck to r area!!!
Turned to sales means they are selling gas. They have an allowable of 1,500 mcfd for the month of April. Waiting on state potential means that the state is waiting on the paperwork for the intial production test. this can take several months to get submitted and processes by the state. That is when the ip rate and pressure will be made public and an allowable will be given by the state.
They are selling gas. However, the scoop is that the shale is not as good north of shreveport, I have heard of complications due to condensate. It is good news if you are a Royalty owner. They are undoubtbly working on a division order, so the RI will be seeing some mailbox money in the next few months.
And yes, Sales is always better than a dry hole.
The only thing worse than a dry hole?....a dry hole you set pipe on.
Wild Wood, I am thinking that what this means is that the well IP'd @ 1.7 million cu ft gas/day. If this was a vertical Cotton Valley well, it would be considered a decent producer. As a horizontal Haynesville, with the expense of drilling and completing them, it would be considered a giant bust, which will, together with the other wells that have been drilled in 19/15, probably put a moritorium on drilling new wells in the area, at least for a while. Looks like we've discovered the approximate northern economic boundary of the play in this area of Caddo Parish.
